There are two words that I never thought I would say to some that passed through my life

And there is one in my life that I must speak those two words to everyday

To those that came and went and took a piece of me with you just know that you did not avail

I may have had sleepless nights and troubled days, but as I always do I found my way

To the one in my life I cherish you dear, because of you I no longer fear

But have days full of glory and cheer

To the world I speak, but single out a few; you know who you are

I shout it out loud so all can hear, my heart is no longer broken

But complete by the one I hold near

But spoken to different ears has a very different meaning

One bitter and cold, and to my love full of knowledge that what I have spoken is clear
